Coming Soon: Art Essentials Zippered Canvas Pencil Pouch

Coming Soon: Art Essentials Zippered Canvas Pencil Pouch

Okay, I need to talk about this pouch, because I have not stopped playing with it since it landed on my desk.

The Art Essentials Zippered Canvas Pencil Pouch is a fun  piece from Flynn Craft House, the shop behind the illustrations of Texas artist Erika Lamar Buenrostro. The entire front is plastered in the most delightfully chaotic "art bag essentials" doodle — a well-loved diary, a fountain pen mid-scribble, a curl of washi tape, sunglasses tossed in the mix, a pressed flower, a "little treat" receipt, an iced latte that says treat yourself (yes ma'am), and even a tiny smiling grocery bag. It's basically an illustration of everything already living in the bottom of my tote, and I'm obsessed.

An off-white canvas zippered pouch featuring a colorful graphic print of various stationery and beauty items, including a red backpack, lipstick, sunglasses, and a receipt, resting on a wooden surface against a plain light gray background.

Roomy enough to actually be useful, slim enough to not turn your bag into a brick.

The details

  • 12 oz. durable, lightweight canvas — machine washable, because art supplies are messy and that's fine

  • 12.2" x 7.4" x 2.7" — real room for pens, pencils, washi, stickers, whatever your hoard requires

  • Illustration is heat-transferred vinyl on the front; back is left blank and ready for your own flair (patches? pins? your call)

  • Zipper closure so nothing goes rogue at the bottom of your bag

Colorways on the way

Five drink-inspired shades are heading your way, practically begging to be mixed and matched:

  • Hibiscus

  • Latte

  • Lemonade

  • Matcha

  • Strawberry Lemonade

Here is my Latte one:

Honestly, will you be able to get just one? I only have one myself, but as soon as these come in, I am taking a Lemonade one for the rest of the summer and probably Hibiscus color. I LOVE these names.

Stay tuned

I'm giving this listing a glow-up with new photos and better details, so it's not quite live yet — but it's close. This is shaping up to be a small-batch, blink-and-you-miss-it kind of item, so if the illustration made you gasp a little the way it did me, keep your notifications on.

More very soon.
