After years of exploring expressive colour, unconventional materials and artistic experimentation, they felt inspired to explore another side of writing instrument design, one shaped by timeless proportions, contemporary restraint and quiet elegance. For Alex, this direction has particularly deep roots. His professional journey began in restoration, where years spent studying and preserving classical forms developed his understanding of proportion, craftsmanship and architectural balance. Although experimentation has always been an important part of his creative work, classical design has never been something to simply reproduce. Consul became an opportunity to approach its timeless foundations with fresh thinking and continue their evolution through a contemporary design language. Consul was created from a simple belief: the future of classic design does not lie in repeating the past, but in allowing it to evolve. Every collection begins with respect for the enduring principles of fine writing and reimagines them through contemporary form, refined proportions and purposeful detail. The aim is to design writing instruments that feel timeless from the very first moment while revealing something entirely new the longer you spend with them. Designed and produced in Armenia, every Consul writing instrument is created using proprietary materials, technologies and manufacturing processes developed in house. Each reflects a commitment to thoughtful engineering, exceptional craftsmanship and lasting quality.
