Consul Origin Fountain Pen in Vesper

Vesper is a soft lavender pearl resin with a pink and blue shimmer, finished with chrome trim, a steel nib and a translucent purple cap finial.

Origin is where the Consul story begins. Its distinctive five-faceted body gives the collection its identity, with the Consul emblem set into the cap finial and mirror-polished metal trim. It's the lightest and most compact Consul.

Consul is a new fountain pen brand from the founders of BENU, designed and made in Yerevan, Armenia, in resins the team develops in house. Small variations in color and pattern make every pen one of a kind.

Nib

A stainless steel JoWo #6 nib in steel finish, engraved with Consul branding. JoWo nibs follow Western sizing, so the Extra Fine is a usable everyday line rather than an ultra-thin Japanese EF. Choose from Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Double Broad, Elastic Fine, Stub 1.1 or Stub 1.5. Not sure which to pick? Fine is a great all-rounder, and Stub 1.1 adds flair to letters and cards.

What nib sizes does the Consul Origin come in?
Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Double Broad, Elastic Fine, Stub 1.1 and Stub 1.5, all JoWo #6 steel nibs with Western sizing.

Can I change the nib later?
Yes. Consul nibs are interchangeable across every model. Reach out and we'll help you find the right size.

Does it take standard ink cartridges?
Yes. It uses international standard short cartridges, or the included Schmidt K6 converter for bottled ink.
