Consul Elan Fountain Pen in Boreal
Boreal captures the northern lights: ribbons of glowing green, teal and rose pink drift through deep violet resin, shimmering as you turn the pen. It's finished with gold trim, a gold-tone nib and a deep purple cap band set with the gold Consul emblem.
Elan takes its name from the French élan: energy, spirit and natural style. A signature faceted strip runs from the Consul emblem on the cap down to the engraved Consul signature beneath the clip, with a matching emblem on the barrel finial and mirror-polished gold trim.
Consul is a new fountain pen brand from the founders of BENU, designed and made in Yerevan, Armenia, in resins the team develops in house. Small variations in color and pattern make every pen one of a kind.
Nib
A stainless steel JoWo #6 nib in gold-tone finish, engraved with Consul branding. JoWo nibs follow Western sizing, so the Extra Fine is a usable everyday line rather than an ultra-thin Japanese EF. Choose from Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Double Broad, Elastic Fine, Stub 1.1 or Stub 1.5. Not sure which to pick? Fine is a great all-rounder, and Stub 1.1 adds flair to letters and cards.
