Honey bees pollinate vast stretches of Tasmania's orchards, berry farms, and wild native flora, from the clover fields of the Midlands to the manuka blooms of the east coast, sustaining both the island's ecology and its livelihoods. Inspired by these small but mighty pollinators, this ink is a rich, highly saturated black with a copper sheen that gleams on premium papers such as Tomoe River and Midori. Diluted heavily, at least 50 to 1, it opens into a multichromatic spectrum of cool greys, pinks, and purples. October 2025.
Try before you commit to a full bottle. Each sample is hand-decanted into a 4ml glass vial with a screw-top cap and a labelled colour name, so you can test the shading, sheen, and flow in your own pens on your own paper first.
This is a shimmer ink. Shake gently before each fill, and use it only in fountain pens that can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Dip pens and brushes are always a safe bet.
