Midnight is the darkest ink in the Night collection, blacker than both Hanging Lake and Pepperberry but bluer than either Devil Black or Abyss. It is highly saturated with minimal shading and only a faint hint of black-red sheen in the right conditions. A smooth, wet everyday writer for anyone who finds a standard blue-black too timid.
