One of the most vibrant reds Van Dieman's has ever mixed.
Red Lightning takes its name from the rare electrical discharges known as sprites, which flash vivid red high above thunderstorms. This is a very wet writer with shimmer suspended throughout, and it shades generously. No sheen here, just pure saturated colour and sparkle.
Try before you commit to a full bottle. Each sample is hand-decanted into a 4ml glass vial with a screw-top cap and a labelled colour name, so you can test the shading, sheen, and flow in your own pens on your own paper first.
This is a shimmer ink. Shake gently before each fill, and use it only in fountain pens that can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Dip pens and brushes are always a safe bet.
