Mycena interrupta are tiny, translucent mushrooms that grow in clusters on wet rotting wood through Tasmania's autumn months. Their white gills glow through their caps like miniature parasols, and their colour is a brilliant cyan. This ink borrows both the name and the colour. It shades beautifully, making it a natural fit for brushwork and ink washing, and it sings in medium to broad nibs.
Try before you commit to a full bottle. Each sample is hand-decanted into a 4ml glass vial with a screw-top cap and a labelled colour name, so you can test the shading, sheen, and flow in your own pens on your own paper first.
