Underwater - Bioluminescence - 4ml Fountain Pen Ink Sample

Inspired by the bioluminescent algae that bloom in the waters around Tasmania, this is a rich dark blue that appears almost black on most papers. A striking red sheen outshines the base colour on acid-free paper, paired with a vibrant blue shimmer. The layers of saturation, under-hue, sheen, and shimmer stack up to mimic bright blue sea glow in dark water. Suitable for dip pens, brushwork, and any fountain pen that disassembles easily for cleaning.

Try before you commit to a full bottle. Each sample is hand-decanted into a 4ml glass vial with a screw-top cap and a labelled colour name, so you can test the shading, sheen, and flow in your own pens on your own paper first.

This is a shimmer ink. Shake gently before each fill, and use it only in fountain pens that can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Dip pens and brushes are always a safe bet.
