A barnacle-crusted chest of loot on the ocean floor.
Sunken Treasure is built on the image of an old treasure chest, water-damaged and covered in barnacles, lying discarded on the seabed and still brimming with ancient gold. The base is a softened mauve, and the dark bronzed shimmer running through it does the work of the loot. Van Dieman's has since reformulated this one for better flow, with noticeably less foaming, feathering, bleeding, and ghosting.
Try before you commit to a full bottle. Each sample is hand-decanted into a 4ml glass vial with a screw-top cap and a labelled colour name, so you can test the shading, sheen, and flow in your own pens on your own paper first.
This is a shimmer ink. Shake gently before each fill, and use it only in fountain pens that can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Dip pens and brushes are always a safe bet.
