In the high Arctic night, the sky becomes a living current.
Inspired by the aurora borealis arcing across polar darkness. The base is a deep glacial teal balanced between evergreen and blue-black, with richer forested shadows gathering at the edges and subtle plum undertones surfacing beneath the green. The shimmer is where the phenomenon unfolds, a fine gold blend that moves in sweeping bands from warm solar flare to soft champagne, with a pink transition flickering through at certain angles. On Tomoe River a striking red sheen gathers along pooled edges. Vivid, electric, atmospheric.
Try before you commit to a full bottle. Each sample is hand-decanted into a 4ml glass vial with a screw-top cap and a labelled colour name, so you can test the shading, sheen, and flow in your own pens on your own paper first.
This is a shimmer ink. Shake gently before each fill, and use it only in fountain pens that can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Dip pens and brushes are always a safe bet.
