Mid-Atlantic Blue captures open water where depth becomes immeasurable and the horizon dissolves into sky. The base sits between cobalt and deep marine indigo, expansive and steady, with darker navy currents forming in pooled areas. In bright light it reads as a clear, commanding blue with crisp edges. In softer light it deepens toward a moodier maritime tone. On Tomoe River it shows gentle variation between vivid blue and shadowed indigo; on Rhodia Dotgrid the finish is denser and more velvety.
Try before you commit to a full bottle. Each sample is hand-decanted into a 4ml glass vial with a screw-top cap and a labelled colour name, so you can test the shading, sheen, and flow in your own pens on your own paper first.
