The cover of the RO-BIKI NOTE is made from waxed paper. The more you use it, the more it develops a vintage look with unique color changes and scuffs.
The inner pages use Soliste, which is suitable not only for pencils and ballpoint pens but also for fountain pens and dip pens.
Thanks to the thread-sewn binding, the notebook can open flat to 360°, and even with long-term use, the pages will not come loose.

The RO-BIKI NOTE Texture Series is a new collection that takes on the challenge of enhancing the natural character of paper through wax coating.
The embossed patterns created by engraved press rolls, and the hues reproduced from carefully color-controlled raw materials, deepen in tone after the waxing process.
You can also enjoy the contrast in transparency that appears depending on the amount of wax absorbed.

The Cover Color: Hanezu
Hanezu is an ancient color name found in classical literature and was once reserved for people of high rank. Because garments dyed in this pale reddish hue faded easily, The poems in the old book compared it to the fleeting nature of human emotions. the “Hanezu Dance” dance is performed every March in Kyoto by dancers wearing costumes in this elegant shade, even today.
