Faun settles onto the page as a deep, mossed green, rich and grounded like the undergrowth of an old forest where light struggles to reach. As it dries, softer greens rise through the base into eucalyptus tones while darker, almost blackened pools gather in shaded areas. The shading feels less applied than grown into the paper. The shimmer is the surprise: multichromatic and elusive, moving between blue and aqua when viewed directly, then transforming as the angle changes, purple surfacing first, followed by soft flashes of pink. Try before you commit to a full bottle. Each sample is hand-decanted into a 4ml glass vial with a screw-top cap and a labelled colour name, so you can test the shading, sheen, and flow in your own pens on your own paper first.
This is a shimmer ink. Shake gently before each fill, and use it only in fountain pens that can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Dip pens and brushes are always a safe bet.
